Leeds have signed Borthwick-Jackson on loan. Didn’t seem to work out at Wolves last year.

Thought we should have kept him about last season as he was pretty good in those few appearances under Van Gaal. Missing basically an entire season last year won’t have done him any good though, hopefully he gets back on track now but I won’t hold my breath. Turned down Ajax for you apparently!

Fosu-Mensah is having his medical at Palace today. He’s probably what we need on the right side.

But with him, Reidewald and Loftus-cheek and also being linked with Chambers we’re going to have quite a young team.

Loftus-cheek and Reidewald looked good on Saturday though.

Hoping that TFM doesn’t get chucked out at RB for you, not convinced at all that it’s his best position long term. Any chance he’ll be playing DM?

Well we’re we’ve been playing 3-4-3, in preseason and Milivojević has been playing centre back which has been a bit weird. Hopefully he won’t stay there and move back to DM.

RWB is obviously what we need, can he black as a RWB rather than a right back? Unless Fosu-Mensah can play as part of a back three?

MIght have to try and work out our starting eleven with 3-4-3. I’m hoping we are still in for Sakho.

Yeah that’s the encouraging thing. Not absolutely convinced that he’ll actually hold down a spot here, but it’s great to have competition for positions - we didn’t have that at all last season.

I’m going to selhurst on Saturday. In the last couple of decades I’ve worked a couple of tfc games but the last time at palace I had a lombardo bald wig. Is going to games still somewhat unenjoyable? I suppose I’ve never been when old enough to drink so that may help

Bournemouth Napoli was pretty good.
Ibe looked alright. Hope we keep Boruc no.1 and Begovic doesn’t just come straight in. We have looked a bit meh in pre-season tbh
