Not sure if there is a guy that does what sounds like really quite bad bird song impressions, or a bird that is shit at singing. Been going on for months. Like, it’s so bad it can’t be a bird, and yet, dunno.
Whatever it is, it’s incredibly annoying.

Torn with this. On one hand, that mash looks like it could do with some gravy or something. On the other, the gravy could end up messing with the richness and texture of the pie, and if you get your mouthfuls right it should be delicious.

Would probably solve by stirring some mustard and maybe cheese or even crème fraiche into the mash, plenty of S&P.
