I’m going to say some positive things about it (there are some things about it that are good) and then say BUT…

Having some actual plot would be good
Show don’t tell
Not convinced writing a whole 300 page novel in the present continuous is a great idea.

Nah I wouldn’t do that! Feel bad venting about it on here, but it’s a nice anonymous space! He’s worked really hard on it and there is some great descriptive stuff but it’s hard going!
