The Fleshtones are back in the UK

They started in 1976 playing at CBGBs and around New York and have never gone a year since without touring. They didn’t fit into the arty punk scene, however, because their main aim was to have fun, to party, not to just be cool. They’d take old sixties garage band singles as an inspiration, mix it up with some soul and funk and whatever else comes to mind. So, not cool then. But super cool now, I reckon.
