Some other muppet in Latvia has applied for an EU trade mark for ‘George Floyd’ in relation to cannabis plants (and other cannabis related stuff) though, so it would seem that there is still plenty of stupidity to be wrung out of this

Someone in Spain has applied in the EU for BLACK LIVES MATTER covering sex aids too.

This will be all of the trade mark news for today

The DA’s press conference on the Rayshard Brooks murder is devastating.

Bigotry isn’t just white people.

ACA5 passed on the 15th.

God damn it.

The pictures of that fucker kicking Mr. Brooks are the very epitome of racism in this country: Shoot you in the back, then kick you while you’re dying.

you’d never tire of punching this smug prick

Game of Thrones??? Whuttt???

Subjugation and Subordination to The Queen then. I’m really confused by what he has said.

i suspect that he’s just talking absolute shite and doesn’t really understand what he’s even saying

it’s depressing to see the whole “bumbling Boris” schtick filtering down to these lower level wanks like Raab and Hancock where they think they can just ramble and laugh their way through these things like it doesn’t matter

Think he’s mixed up taking a knee and bending the knee

There is a growing history of Tories being condescending towards outspoken Black men. Off the top of my head:

  • Gove praising Akala on Newsnight for being ‘articulate’
  • Gove tweeting the Stormzy lyric “I set trends dem man copy” after Stormzy declared his support for Labour
  • Hancock calling Marcus Rashford ‘Daniel Rashford’ (this may have been an honest misremembering but it doesn’t come off well)
  • Now Raab claiming to not know the origins of taking a knee in the context of racism and police brutality(!). This one is pretty egregious.

It will never stop enraging me that these people repeatedly show the world how profoundly awful they are, but they still win elections.

Just imagine being a senior cabinet member and not being even the slightest bit interested in finding out the history of “taking the knee” during the 3 weeks that BLM have been at the top of the agenda.

It’s a symptom of the malaise of current ministers that they are totally averse to any kind of Civil Service briefing. Stuff like this would normally be flagged up and a minister would be conversent with it. Now they just bollock on off the top of their heads because they know they won’t be called on anything.

Yeah “bending the knee” had a brief vogue on Twitter last year didn’t it
