Rush basically made a career off this album, but without the feeling or groove.

It’s certainly the greatest Genesis album.

I think Steven Wilson’s Hand. Cannot. Erase is one of the best modern prog albums, especially when you know the story behind it.

Going to have to check that out as a man of exquisite taste.

Nah, It’s either Caravan’s Land of Grey & Pink

Or

Aphrodite’s Child’s 666

Fragile by Yes. Because ‘Heart of the Sunrise’, which is the best prog track.

I love to imagine the disparity between the band’s post album (666) pride, and the utter, appalled horror of the record company. There must have been some truly amazing meetings.

Incredible record, obviously.

I reckon some top quality narcotics smoothed over the proceedings

Rush seem like bigger Yes ripoffs than anything to me, but the important thing is that we all agree that Rush suck and be done with it.

Does this count as prog? cos this, if so

what are Rush even like? have they ever done anything good?

always found them immediately offputting because of the voice of Geddy Lee, so never bothered. imagine they were cool to 80s US nerds or something

Watch the Rush documentary “beyond the lighted stage”.

It is amazing.
