Well there is a call of duty and assassins creed game
PotW please @JaguarPirate
Released on Dreamcast in 2000, so it counts.
Just because it’s popular, doesn’t mean that it’s one of the best, though.
I mean, I don’t think anyone would argue that FIFA should be in that list, either.
I think you meant Chu Chu Rocket. BAD KAPU KAPU!
Chu Chu Rocket was 1999
(I vaguely remember it being quite near Dreamcast Launch. Had a great time with it round my mates house in GCSE year)
I feel weird about this; FIFA 06 and FIFA 12 are classics of the era, I think (off the top of my head), but it’s like comparing AutoCAD 2016 and AutoCAD 2019, it’s difficult to state where the jump from good to great was, with the releases every year.
R14 for life!
Yeah, any improvements are a slow iterative process, and none of the releases have made a big, genre-changing leap.
I feel like you and I could have a long conversation about the merits of BIM and the governments BIM2 and BIM3 initiatives, and the merits of Autodesk versus Aveva suites.
Silent Hill 2 not hitting the top five is a travesty, they are actual idiots or they’ve never played it.
No Borderlands, no Dishonoured, no Civ, no Guild Wars?
They’re the only games I play. Stupid Guardian.
I never said it should be on there because it’s popular, it is one of the best games I’ve played
We could, but we shouldn’t.
(We’re on Bentley here, and we’re about ten years behind how we were using AutoCAD/Revit at my last place)
Not a lot of love for the indies here, is there?
Oh dear.
Pretty standard, unadventurous list. They got the wrong Portal, Battlefield and Tony Hawks though. And no Champ/Football Manager is indeed just bizarre.
Would anyone be up for a “Drowned In Sound’s 50 best video games of the 21st century”?
Everyone sends me ranked Top 10 or top 20 lists I’ll merge them and etc.?
GTA IV is the worst one of the bunch, weird that’s in over Vice City or San Andreas
