Using legitimate methods, Episode 2 was on yesterday.
Just reading the whole thread and interesting to note the suggestion that the relationship with the driver is supposed to be much more about casual sex than anything romantic, as I thought episode 2 did that (I read the book too long ago to remember).
I too am enjoying the ‘how we got here’ parts probably more than the present day parts although how anyone overthrew a government with a military the size of America’s is a bit hard to overlook. TBH I’m not sure where Offred/June’s story can go from here now she’s escaped..
Yeah watched episode 10 earlier this week. Don’t think it’s giving anything away when saying in light of recent events in America that episode had extra poignancy.
I’m up to date now too. That was a tough watch. I’m still totally on board, but need to get a feel for how this will pan out. One or two more seasons? Fine. But if it becomes some cash generator for Hulu and goes the way of Walking Dead then I don’t think I can be bothered.
There’s a quote from the showrunner after S1 finished saying he thought about 10 seasons FFS but you have to hope he was just being hyperbolic because I’m very much with you on this

Still working my way through this, currently on Episode 8 (with Janine and the baby). Jesus will anyone in Gilead turn a fucking light on? The entire episode takes place in the dark.
Yeah, I don’t think she’d dead. The attack wasn’t exactly brutal by the show’s standards, and I predict a redemption arc. And yes, she’s a brilliant character.
