Yeah I’ll be at that one. I’ve never really been a Mountain Goats guy despite them being ostensibly right in my wheelhouse so it’s a good excuse to do a deep dive.

Like a few others I’m waiting for the mountain goats tour. Glad it’s a while away as can’t really face possibly hearing Luke and Leanna at the mo.

Mentioned it in the mountain goats thread but don’t sleep on John Darnielle’s 365 book. Amazing stories behind his songwriting even if you aren’t a big fan.

I always used to go to the more raucous, intimate Sunday gigs, but now I’m content to hang out under the Electric Ballroom aircon, thankful for the 10pm Friday night curfew.
