Bloody love Jazz Café. And love that it’s become the go-to venue for rap acts of yore. Saw London Posse there the other night. Always such a good atmosphere.

Couple of years ago. Was so hyped for it despite knowing what a shithole Brixton Academy is, they were good but the sound was just awful.

Yeah, I saw that. And £90 for VIP! Which I’m guessing means sitting upstairs where you HAVE to order a meal. Would like to see them again, and Jazz Cafe would be perfect, but I snoozed and I loozed.

Well that was fucking incredible. Only complaint is that their catalogue is so deep that in a couple of hours there’s so much I’d still want to see them play in that venue with that sound. Otherwise, flawless. You’re going to have a blast @anon5266188

Heaviest on Things Fall Apart but yeah career spanning. A fair amount of jamming and covers too but that’s really an integral part of who the Roots are now and they’re so great at it. Don’t want to make any spoilers in case it’s a similar set (though presume they’ll switch it up) but yeah, really brilliant
