We all know some people think coriander tastes like soap and other such taste preferences, but cardamom is liked by absolutely nobody.
Just had some carrot cake that references ‘mixed spices’ and there it is, cardamom, lurking in the background, but at the forefront of my tastebuds.

Without it there’d be no cardomom bun and no chai and therefore no scout.
I should probably take this to the Things You’ve Been Slow to Realise thread, but I always thought the last letter was an n until reading this thread if I’m honest.
Cardamom buns are with cinnamon, not against it. There’s room for both delicious spices in a bun.
The dough for cinnamon buns usually has quite a bit of cardamom in it.
Had a cinnamon bun with some cardamom in it recently and that was fine
Can’t say I’ve ever noticed, probably used by bakeries to bump up prices needlessly though so yeah let’s fuck it into the bins one day.
