I am going to be awkward here and say it depends… most things, yes; chocolate coins, clementines, nuts, scratch cards/lottery tickets are all no. Per my family’s tradition anyway. If it is for Jnr I would say leave them unwrapped!

drinking got out of control a bit a couple of weeks ago so had 10 days off and just split a bottle of white wine with the missus. feel a bit tipsy so that’s enough for me. going to have a chilled christmas with the booze and try and stay in some good habits (e.g not smashing whisky on my own late at night). feel much better for it already
