might have already said it upthread, but when you get to the final confrontation between Ellie and Abbey in the water I had to put the controller down and walk away. I just could not handle it.
In other news, has anyone else seen the first episode of the new series yet? Looks like they are definitely setting it up to be a two or even three series adaptation of the game based on where we are by the end of this episode. I would love the rage that would ensue if this series finishes on the first time you see the fight in the theatre, then it fades to black, you wait a year and it fades back in as Day One again and suddenly Abbeyâs the hero. but I suspect they will go more entwined to preserve the echoes between storylines.

Yeah, Iâve never wanted to fight someone in a game less. Was playing it reluctantly almost, I just didnât want either of them to die, even though I really started to dislike Ellie towards the end. Think I didnât breathe for about a 2 minutes until she let Abby and Lev go

Yeah, wouldnât surprise me if they dragged this out for another season or two. Plus thereâs stuff they could added into the show which may not have been possible in game because of time/space etc
I enjoy the chat that goes alongside a show that drops week by week, but since this is based on the game and Iâve only played the first one, I think Iâm just gonna have to avoid any media for this one

I wonder if weâll even meet (game spoilers-ish) Yara and Lev in this season. Feel like them and the Scars could be expanded on in the next season.

That was a fantastic episode of telly that. Stumbled into a couple of the gameâs subreddits after reading some reviews andâŚholy shit. What is wrong with these people? The level of anger and misogyny is on a whole other level
