I thought at beginning of the week when I first found out that it needed 15 clubs to get rid of them I thought they would have the numbers to kick em out. Now I reckon something like 6 clubs will want rid however, the ones that want to keep them are going to want to use them as their personal cash machine for the next 20 years. Plus if City stay in the league they’ll have some sort of control over them, maybe.

The clubs won’t make that decision, much as a three-quarter vote of members means they can do pretty much anything. It will be the decision of the three-man sanctions panel. The clubs don’t have any input into that officially, but I suspect there’s an ongoing dialogue between a smaller panel of key members (the big three) and those running the league officially.
Don’t they still have to vote for it though or is that bullshit?
Sanctions come from the appointed panel.
Clubs can vote based on motions any member club puts up at the monthly meetings or AGMs/EGMs.
So the sanctions panel can hand down a kick them out the league or Brighton could turn around and say due to the body evidence we are tabling a motion to kick them and everyone votes?
I just don’t think clubs can vote to kick a member out, or at least there’s no precedent in any league that I can think of, i’ve never once heard a legal bod discussing that option in many years of doomscrolling about this, and there are probably lots of litagatory reasons why the process wouldn’t work like that.
