The Long Play Sessions is proud to kick off our Autumn/Winter season in Leeds hosting Janine Warren as she discusses her superb new book ‘The World Was A Mess, But His Hair Was Perfect.’

Covering the British Indie period of 2000-2010, it’s an oral history of the last Indie music scene featuring the likes of Bloc Party, The Cribs, The Futureheads, Alex Kapranos, Carl Barat, Peter Doherty and Gordon Raphael amongst others and perfectly captures the chaotic nature of the 00’s.
