That was the first episode I actually enjoyed. Still remarkably little overarching plot development but the rookie bounty hunter, the assassin, the mechanic and the repair droids. Was fun to revisit Tattoine of course.

Lot of plot to cover in the three remaining episodes.

That was proper Member Berry stuff more so than Force Awakens. It was good although it didn’t advance the overall plot and with 3 episodes left of 30 ish minutes each it is going to really have to pick up the pace.

I think its a bit of conditioning from Watchmen this year that has a clear arc with an end point before it goes off into a new season. The other thing is Favreau has said there is an arc to the season.

So it’s just me that thinks this show is boring? No plot to speak of and somehow making 30 minutes seem like it’s dragging.

I really hope so, maybe in cahoots with Darth Binks.

It’s weird how much TV has changed that you’re basically asking for more aesthetic over content :grinning:

I mean I get what you mean but this is actually closer to how TV used to be isn’t it? And it’s really jarring!

I’ve said elsewhere and maybe here but this is most like modern Doctor Who for me: if I wasn’t big into the source I wouldn’t really care all that much.

It’s also not really any different from the Rebels cartoon series. I think part of the frustration for us here is we were expecting post-watershed TV and we’ve got CBBC.

It really, really is. Rebels may have pitched young in places but when it was good it was some of the best Star Wars going. Nothing in The Baby Yoda Show even hints that it could do something like this.

Even though it’s made by the same person.

Yeah but there are loads of Rebels episodes. I’ve seen the first 4 of each and they’re on a par. I know Rebels steps up but so may this.
