OR, what about this: the cat flap malfunctioned and after you fully locked it, it switched back to in only

I’d like this to be true but the mechanism is very simple and couldn’t malfunction like that. This is the flap in question (yes it says dog but I explained about the size of the hole the previousl resident idiots had cut into the door):

  • Fox
  • Strong Cats
  • Burglar
  • Ghost Cats
  • Balonz did it himself for attention.

Did we ever do the ep I sent answers for

Well, then I’m sorry balonz, either your home is haunted by malevolent demon cat ghosts or you left your family open to attack from vampire zombie foxes

I forgot that I have one last piece of evidence. A picture of the flap with the pane propped back in. It shows the crack:

oh my god I have never seen such devastation.

ffs. MASSIVE let down.

sheeldz we are moving to a new house next month and the back door has a cat flap and i am pretty certain that the smaller, stupider dog is going to get her head stuck in it, probably within a week of living there

ok to be fair - I’ve re-read the OP and I think I exaggerated it in my head.

Ok so there are two episodes that were waiting for a set of answers each. I really hate being the person to chase people up and keep on about it, and it felt a bit like BD was coming to a natural end, interest and fun-wise so thought I’d just leave it there. If I get the answers then I’ll do the episodes but no big deal.

It was smashed TWO METRES OUT! TWO!

maybe the previous flap had been kicked out so violently they had to replace it with a slightly larger cat flap?

ghosts: confirmed

Thank fuck SOMEONE mentioned the obvious cause.

I think that is showing that you did not fully lock it. Case closed.

I had to move the locking mechanism to prop in. They were not in a uniform, natural position after the assault.

Case reopened!

Haven’t read any other posts but the OP

In my old house I had an issue with a rogue cat coming in and eating my cats’ food. as soon as I went into the kitchen he would run away. He was a big cat

Getting fed up withe situation I set the catflap to “let in but not out”. Then when I heard the familiar sound of this cat coming in and helping himself to the food I came out to the kitchen and he went to run away like normal. He found he couldn’t get out so he ran upstairs. My plan was to give him a squirt with a water pistol then let him out, thinking this would be enough to scare him away forever

Anyway before I got the chance to do this said big cat came haring down the stars and flew at the cat flap - and that flap opened and he got out

so I think a big cat launched themselves at your flap @anon29812515

You’re a smart man, Tim.

Sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion

Big Cat is currently number two suspect but means I did not complete my catflap duties properly.
