Some facts about the band Martha: Martha formed in the village of Pity Me, a suburb of Durham in the North East of England. Martha have no designated frontperson and all contribute vocals. Martha won the Neptune Award Prize for Music 2023 for their album Please Don’t Take Me Back. As of 2022 Martha have released four full-length albums on cult UK and US-based independent record labels.
