Last one was ‘nice enough post-rock album’ territory for me, assumed the new one would be something similar but will have to get a listen

That album is really something special. I have it a listen after they were announced for ArcTanGent this year, and that album has had daily plays since. Their performance was also truly exceptional.

anyone discovered a new favourite from the list as yet?

The Cwfen album absolutely floored me in its intensity, emotion, and songwriting craft. Heavy and beautiful.

Working my way through the ones I haven’t heard. Really liking Benefits and Cwfen so far.

I see God Is In The TV has announced the shortlist for its alternative to the Neptune prize.

Just Kathryn Joseph who appears on both shortlists.

An interesting twist this year is that I can’t even see who is polling well… will be interesting to see what happens when it closes.

About to hit 200 votes as I type this

Didn’t manage any listening of the ones I didnt already know, though I will in time. But a very strong 3 I did vote for; any of them would be worthy winners

They’re stunning live.

Cwfen deserve their flowers for the love poured into what they do. ‘Sorrows’ is really special.
Cannot recommend them enough! :black_heart::rose:

The top two seem to have the same number of votes? Why one is 30% and one 29%?

More importantly, who are Cwfen?
