digging around and made a connection: neptunes did a remix of brand nubians dont let it go to your head (which is easily one of my fav late 90s songs). never heard the remix til just now, good but i like the smoothness of the original better (produced by Chris “CL” Liggio, who has a pretty limited production library).

anyway just wondering if neptunes got inspiration for the drop it like its hot beat from the intro to the original dont let it go to your head beat
