But seriously, if they submit their album for consideration (we’ve already established that they meet the eligibility criteria) and the judges deem it worthy of inclusion on the long then short-list, and they end up garnering sufficient support to win the award, I’ll be the first to hold my hands up

You know, I have it on good authority that they’re good for the £264 entry fee. No credit history problems there at all.
