Yeah. Due to it not being one.
Do not fuck with me on what is or is not in London or what is or is not a supermarket.
Average of over 7 for Waitrose?
Bunch of tories.
Clearly has great stuff, but unaffordable for getting your regular shop in, surely?
Please consider all the criteria outlined by Aggpass in the OP, and re-vote if necessary.
Would you like to know how I organise my weekly shop, warno?
yes please!
Yes, but those others aren’t massively good value for money and they are also scoring very low in the other areas, FFS.
There is no option for ‘11’.
There’s an Aldi nextdoor to a waitrose, so I go to aldi to get most of my shopping, all household goods and non-perishables, most of my food. Then go to waitrose for the fancier stuff and items where it’s worth spending a bit extra on better quality. Rounds out cheaper than a tesco shop on the whole, and much better.
Thanks
How is sainsbags beating tezzlets?!
Do you feel this is a symbiosis they have nurtured?
The waitrose has been there a lot longer. Maybe it was a tactical location from the Aldi top brass
I gave it 3/10. PEOPLE WHO pay Waitrose prices for Aldi/Lidl quality because Waitrose uses a nice typeface and they’re scared of Aldi/Lidl.
Where does ‘Marqt’ rank in this poll for you?
I’d give it an 8 because it really was FUCKING expensive.
They also have lanes wide enough to easily push trolleys in both directions while other people take things from the shelves, which is absolute supermarket bliss. And you get a free coffee
Nah, I’m not a huge fan but evenb somethingh like Waitrose’s normal cheddar is head and shoulders above anything you get in a standard supermarket or even shops like Aldi, Lidl and Co-op.
Are you suggesting that Lidl and Aldi aren’t supermarkets. I thought you were German
My high rating of Sainsburys is based almost entirely on the fact it is close to my house, is big but not too big, is not too busy and pretty nice staff. And I know where everything is.
I hate going to any supermarket I’m not used to as it takes ages cos you don;t know where anything is
I go to Aldi on a Sunday afternoon when it’s usually crowded, and even then I’ve never had a problem negotiating my way through. Also it’s about the same size as a Tesco Express and so you can get a fortnight’s family shopping done (checkout and all, for their checkout staff are Olympic-standard) in under 30 minutes.
Of course they aren’t and we all know that in our heart of hearts. I know city dwellers with their tiny marts might feel so but they of course are idiots.
Morrisons being massively underrated here. Closer in price to Aldi/Lidl then yer Sainsbos and Waitrose, yet still stocks all the main branded gear.
Waitrose top? Dis privelaged twats (yes finally used it!)
