The last Joshua Burnside album is a real stunner
And should finally be seeing him in the autumn

Really enjoying this EP from Aoif3. Westport coldwave!
Bog Band are the most misleadingly named band in some time
The Savoy reopened in Cork, great to have a bigger venue back. Saw Ten Past Seven last night, along with Taupe. Really wish more people knew about Ten Past Seven, one of Ireland’s best live acts.

Will check these guys out now.

I think they’re possibly good? but the name is so inappropriate that it’s not doing them favours
Would love to see those lads but they never come up this way
Oooh
Would prefer a Dublin Gone, Everybody Dead show but might go either way
I was going to be quite sniffy and say where’s a new Lankum album, but this is excellent proper back to the source gear. Think there’s a Bothy Band version and I once heard a version on a Topic Voice Of The People, maybe The Barley Mow, fuck no it wasn’t it was Bob Roberts in the 70s
Feel like whatever health issues caused lots of cancelled Lankum and Poor Creatures shows might mean there’s a bit of a wait for another Lankum album (don’t know any details though).
They’ve been recording a bit apparently. Could have been for this tbh.
Yeh when I saw them last August they sort of implied it was almost nearly done…
Ah fair, still, they might wait until they can tour properly before they release it I guess
Folk musicians aren’t exactly the quickest lot to release an album anyway, I know people that have sat on an album for 2 years before releasing it and all that time they are still popping up at the festivals anything less than 18 months used to be considered speedy.
