Executive directors of their respective show, non kayfabe, thats actually insane

They have to answer to Vince but I wonder if this is the first sign of Vince/WWE acknowledging he needs to have a more hands off approach.

Hell probably just shut down every proposed change.

Fucking amazing that Vince’s response to being challenged by a fresh new company finding success on the backs of young executives using modern ideas is to retreat to the same old fucks who’ve been running the wrestling industry for the last 30 years.

In his defence Bischoff does have that stint where WCW was genuinely the better wrestling company with engaging storyline’s and good quality product. It did only last for about a year 96/97 and then he ran out of exciting stars to nick off WWF and it all started to go to shit quite quickly, so seems somewhat unlikely he will rekindle the magic 22 years on with no sign of it since

At this stage he doesn’t have to perform miracles though… Just produce a show that makes sense more often than not. Surely not beyond his level of abilty, particularly without Russo on the writing staff.

So Ring of Honour have lost their usp (having the best wrestling in America) and nobody cares about them anymore and nobody goes to their shows.

If you were in charge what would you pivot to? NJPW lite? Have people pay to watch Flip Gordon injure himself? Special backstage passes where Bully Ray gets to yell in yr face for 5 minutes?c

They’ve had 15 years to fix their problems, they didn’t, they should probably just wind d own and call it a day TBH. All ROH does now is drag down super cards. ROH has been in a bad place ever since the Kevin Steen and El Generico fued ended, completely coasting and relying on their reputation alone
