never been there for sport but overall it’s an absolutely magnificent place to drink a lot of beer

My local shows matches on a big screen along with four other screens. Good variety of matches and they always put on the Chelsea games on a separate screen while I’m in there. Pints of Beamish are €3.50 and it’s a thirty second walk to my house.

We are watching the match in the Woolshed tonight though. Absolute shithole Australian themed sports bar where you can’t get a pint of Murphy’s and they have about seven commentary tracks going at once over ten football games, a game of golf and some shithouse rugby game. Hate the place but can’t convince the lads to see sense and go to my local.

It is, although with the caveat that as a result of everyone knowing this it’s often pretty difficult to get a good spot. Would imagine it’s even worse for the footy.

Few good places kicking about in London. Temple Brewhouse is great if I can be bothered to hang around in that area long enough after work, Horatia on Holloway Road doesn’t feel like a footy pub in any way but has a big screen at the back where you can watch games comfortably, Coach and Horses in Stoke Newington is a pretty crap pub that’s surprisingly great for footy (and which no-one really seems to know about, easy to plonk yourself in a great spot even for big games). Would love to find one I love though.

Pretty grim pub

Goes to show how much opinions of pubs is a matter of horses for courses, I guess. Always found it pretty decent in there, if unspectacular.

Yep hi can confirm. :+1:

Brighton is terrible for football pubs

Hardly any show the football at all, most that do don’t put the sound on and the few that do are so packed you can never see/get a decent standing point/seat

Hate watching Spurs in the pub because it feels like no matter who we’re playing everyone in the pub supports them/hates Spurs

  • Liverpool stick the boot in
  • Liverpool really stick the boot in
  • Brave, brave Roma
  • The funny option

absolutely no chance Man Utd are qualifying tonight

Unlike every other game of football ever, the first goal will be important.

Roma winning but Liverpool scoring and qualifying relatively comfortably. 3-2 or something maybe

Very few appease my basic human needs of craft beer and live sport.

Brighton Bierhaus shows games and is a good pub. Apart from that, yeah, not great

That is a good pub, not been there for footy though! Will bear that in mind :bear: Cheers

I would 8-2 on aggregate be a Roma fan after my predicted result of tonight’s fixture

No idea how close that is for you, but they have BT, not sky (I think) and up there with my favourite places on Brighton

Here we go
