sometimes

Can’t remember a ground coming across quieter on tv than here

Why on earth am I watching this

they’re in a battle with Spurs for 2nd place

Would also recommend The Alexandra Hotel and The Brunswick which are virtually en route between the station and the ground (if you use the front exit of the station) and have excellent ale. Not sure how good they are for grub though. The Harvester is the usual stop for away fans but has security on the door and can be full up from early.
If you fancy some decent fish and chips, the Zanfish van at the ground (North stand end) is worth a visit.

Can’t believe I’m missing this game, sounds awesome

Think we might hold on to a 0-0 and secure 2nd

Does that Greggs in the corner open on a matchday? I can highly recommend their corned beef slice, sausage roll and a bag of jam doughnuts for half time.

the football thread gammons too aye

Didn’t realise this. They always had a really friendly vibe going on: shame

Love it when commentators use the word ‘rapid’

Mark Noble is the embodiment of everything I hate about football, fans and culture

Would have quite liked to have done a bit more of my football broadcaster gimmick there but nothing happened and there were no consequences

You’ve got to have perspective, pal. It’s not like they’re about twenty points behind City and Liverpool are about to win the European Cup or anything…

Would genuinely take a 10-0 defeat in the cup final if it meant Liverpool didn’t win the champions league
