We abandoned our weekly walk up to the butchers this morning as the weather was meh and I really just could not bring myself to do the same walk again.

Waaah @Slicky I went to buy that tuxedo top just now and spotted this dress  it’s got a BOW on the neck. Sorry, just wanted to share it because I’ve bought it and I think it’s so cute.

Lying on my bed having finished my book - Common Ground.

Listening to Pianos Become The Teeth and pondering what to cook for tea. Got squash that needs using.

Tired out after a hectic morning of kids, dog walking, then taking my patients in law to the hospital, and walking round the park next door to the hozza for 3 hours waiting for them to be done. Tempted by a nap now.

Has anyone used NHS 111 lately? It keeps giving me a prerecorded message then hanging up.

Has it been sidelined for the Covid helpline?

Charles has gone to see Phillip in hospital. Seems quite ominous that he’s still there doesn’t it?

Yeah, I used earlier. There was a message about 1pm saying the service was really busy and then it goes into like 3 minutes of “if this is COVID, hang up, otherwise press 2”. Once through that I connected pretty quickly.

Oh man I could go for a creme egg or six right about now

I get 30 seconds of a voice saying to ‘press 1 if this is Covid related or hit 999 if this is an emergency’ but no mention of it being busy  will keep trying

Good luck, hope you’re alright and get through soon!

Omg just biked 15km and half of that was on a gentle hill and now my legs are jelly.

Going to get the Ooni out and have pizza for dinner though :yum:

Also, thought we’d found a bird watching hut:

But no:

It still is a bird watching hut. For the dedicated watcher.

Evening lads.

Had quite a nice day all told. Pushing general health worries to the back of my head, I got up at about ten am, watched a bit of James Martin followed by This Farming Life. Then two hours of Midsomer Murders while mainlining herbal tea and reading Cycling Weekly.

Then ran a mile and a half on Nintendo Ring Fit, before joining my dad on a quick trip in the car.

Then more tea, and later I’ll read the latest Weird Walk magazine in the bath.

Have nice Saturday evenings chums.

Got a letter through the door inviting us to this neighbourhood app called Nextdoor. Just imagined going on there and saying Hi, I live at [our address] if anyone fancies coming round for a fight.

111 is not extended to Northern Ireland. This information was only available on Wikipedia
