I find it funny that Dennis Quaid is in this new release and also the really cheap-looking Reagan biopic that has just come out in the US

His role was originally cast to Ray Liotta, before he died.

I saw it last night - it’s great fun

Got some free drinks when I saw it

What a nice touch! It’s a fun film

quite hyped for this

was keen to catch it at Edinburgh film fest- last month, but midnight weekday screenings for a 2.5 hour film was a bit of a stretch

We got a syringe-shaped pen, and some popcorn and a beer.

Might go Saturday. Might not

I’m gonna go and watch this film on Saturday if God wills it

Just seen it. Didnt realise it was actually the Vince McMahon documentary

Lots of disgusting stuff in this film but nothing is as bad as Dennis Quaid’s character not washing his hands after taking a piss

If they’d filmed that special months in advance like Jools Holland’s Hootenanny things would have worked out a lot better

Just got out of the cinema for this. It is fucking incredible.

Absolutely loved how surreal the set design was for everything but especially the TV studios and the Dennis Quaid environments. That ludicrously long corridor was so amusing to me. When the shareholders turned up in it at the end it had me grinning a lot.

Seems almost trite really but both central performances are out of this world. Demi Moore preparing for her date should win her the Oscar alone (it won’t) - a scene as furiously heartbreaking in amongst all the gross-out heavy-handedness really set this thing apart.

I thought the film was OK but this scene was great, excruciating stuff on a par with the answering machine messages scene in Swingers (only gender-flipped)

Quaid going ‘ooh feathers’ and them all doing a little shimmy walk off made me proper laugh

succinct how it skewered the men… the neighbour angrily knocking on the door doing a 180 “i’ve got a big hammer, so to speak”. the puddle drippy guy when she agrees to go out “wow… (silence), just wow”. ‘i bet a star like you likes to make an entrance!’. the security guy ushering in the monster to studio, just seeing the blue dress

Think it’s a bit harsh lumping in that dorky Fred guy she knew at school with the other guys in the film!
