Plans for today:
- get some wrapping done while the girls go to get their hair cut
- carol service (online)
- roast dinner for lunch
- maybe a walk in the woods?
- more wrapping
- write a shopping list for the Big Christmas Shop
Oh, and we’re going to watch Home Alone tonight! The girls have never seen it before

Bairn has now decided that half 6 is his wake up time… even at the weekend.
Gonna let my wife sleep a bit longer and then go for a run about 8. Then off to see santa.
Seem to be developing a cold which is far from ideal timing.

Got some doorstep present exchange action going on later this morning, earlier than planned so need to do some emergency wrapping. At least R is excited that he gets to open some presents extra early, including the one he hasn’t shut up about since his grandad suggested it so I am also very relieved I won’t have to field half an hour of questioning about it every bedtime any more.

Managed to get to Aldi last night before it shut so at least we don’t have that to do today. Last minute rule changes jfc.
