A wise move.

I think it’s probably not clever enough to do that, and I’m not convinced it would be worth building that functionality in, given how many households order a mix of stuff for different dietary requirements, but it may be clever enough to use data in other ways that I probably shouldn’t post about!

Particularly when they all use vast amounts of purchasing data to accurately target loyalty card offers.

Or there should just be a “dietary requirements” box you can tick ffs

Not aware of any supermarkets offering this, and it’s not because they haven’t thought of it. Products can change specification so that a product that was, for example, dairy free, now includes dairy, or vice versa. Even if the info on the system is up to date, which there is no guarantee of with branded lines (as the retailer doesn’t own the specification and is reliant on the manufacturer to tell them about any changes), if a product has changed recently you could have a situation where the system thinks a product is now dairy free but what’s on the shelf is the old recipe. A retailer wouldn’t want to give the impression of promising that all the products in your order will be dairy free when that situation could arise, because it may give you a false sense of security around checking packaging that could lead you to eat something you’re allergic to.

Haha!! I know right? Haven’t met a friend for a while now, what a treat!

What is this jam on toast tea I hear people speak of?? I’ve never seen it before! Does it actually taste like the real thing?? I am intrigued because it sounds like the most comforting thing ever.

Busy, lots of second homers, i’m working with absolute incompetent, plus there are huge deliveries of next summer’s stock to process that have come early to avoid Brexit :frowning:

Oh also I’ve been taking calls from people all day who now can’t come to see family/have family come to see them that are down here and want hampers/gift boxes (which we don’t usually do) making up for them.
