• Preheat oven as per instructions
  • Who has the time for that?

I am learning to preheat.

It turns out it does actually make a difference.

cooked something in my oven in my mirowave oven recently, then tried to microwave some rice to go with it, but as it was still hot when I put it in from being an oven the rice pouch melted, so now I think I am cooking melted plastic residue when I use it

I’m 50/50, depends how hungry I am

Fan oven, so it’s a dangerous game to full power the oven

Is it a meta oven

Why is it that ovens things always need more time than the instructions but microwave things need less?

it is a mircowave oven that is also a non-mircowave oven oven, quite hard to talk about

Think the gas marks on my oven are wrong. Usually have to use one above the one in the instructions/recipe or cook it for an extra 10 minutes. And that’s with preheating the oven first.

More time for the plates to get nice and warm, mind.

Lost it a bit at this.

Hahaha christ. Good crew liking it mind. What post was this on?

Have you introduced R to the joys of writing on a banana in biro, yet?
Ps. We keep some chopped bananas in the freezer and combine them with fruit basket ones for smoothies. Think this was a @scout tip.
