No I mean it’s detrimental to the faithful, obviously the Traitors needed rid of Ash
Ah right,
Wilf on the bbc2 thing last night made a good point that keeping traitors in late game means you can have the numbers and only have to sway one or two faithful. He said that’s what his plan was but he couldn’t carry it out.
Originally I thought Zach or Jaz. Seeing what happened yesterday probably Evie.
I guess there’s a slight advantage for the Faithful even if The Traitors do get to recruit, cos they might fuck up their recruitment and get someone who’s shitting it like Andrew rather than someone who’s known all along they’re a Traitor and can play it fairly cool like Miles. The Faithful were in a better position with Andrew, Paul and Harry rather than Miles, Paul and Harry even though it’s 3 vs 3 either way.
Do agree with your point generally though.
That’s how the DiS werewolves played it too, voting block
The optimal game strategy doesn’t really reflect the whole faithful/traitor game dynamic. I can’t remember if this was ever even inferred on screen in the UK series.
The top priority from day one regardless of whether you are a traitor or faithful should be simply getting to the final banishment. Every banishment and murder between the start and the end should be done with that in mind. If you are a faithful, your efforts are better placed acquiring the optimal level of social capital as opposed to traitor hunting.
Mollie is probably doing the best this series so far. The traitors aren’t looking to kill her because she’s not viewed as a threat, the faithful all trust her.
We’d all lose the plot no matter what the plan was in that situation though i reckon. Being on TV, group dynamics, Ego, shyness.
The shows got you on the back foot no matter what your personality is.
Harrys looking to switch that up now, he’s on full on clear the board mode from his chat in the tower last night something like “lets go for people who won’t get banished and let the ones that are sus vote themselves out” we’ll see if his actions meet his words with who goes tonight if it’s Zach his egos took off
Yeah I’d like to think I’d approach it all purely rationally, but it would all fall apart when I refuse to vote for Jasmine because I fancy her.
Convinced i’m right on this by the way, he oozes officer class confidence and is so good at the group dynamic and leading
Yeah I’ve said this before too
I wonder if there are some squaddies he leapfrogged watching the show and thinking “well… fuck”
Doubt it if he went to Sandhurst, think some people go straight there. Mate lived with someone at uni who went straight to Sandhurst so doubt he had any squaddie mates prior.
They had the choice of murdering didn’t they? I think it was too risky for them to recruit (easy to say now) because of the way they’ve played the game. Anybody coming into that situation will realise that Harry and Paul instigated getting other traitors out. Mollie, Zach - any faithful will have realised, like Andrew did, that they’re in big trouble
the Rachel Rice of the Traitors
True, they’ve played it high risk both ways in that they’re both beloved and very visible personalities so not going under radar as faithfuls either. Questions were being raised on Paul’s survival already and if Harry isn’t eaten soon then they’ll have the same questions, especially if Zach gets got
Really, I’m just in awe of Wilf, who played it so perfectly in hindsight, accidentally given cover by Maddie’s constant accusations
Aye Wilf was incredibly good and Paul/Harry are definitely following on from him. Wilf really deserved to win (despite deciding to recruit Kieran and then cracking after Kieran dobbed him in).
I do think the next season would benefit from having Traitors that aren’t in the Wilf/Paul/Harry mode. It’s going to get boring quick if each season centres on a cheeky chappie. Would be keen to see a group of traitors without any males and see how that does
Thinking about it, Paul should have lent into “the traitors are keeping me because Jaz is always accusing me, they want me to be a fall guy

” but he just could not STAND to not have everyone praising him 24/7
