I can’t keep up with the thread and show in real time, so dumping some thoughts.

I enjoyed the episode - task aside.

There was lots of round table, James being an oddball, jade looking fire, Claudia slamming everyone’s incompetence, and finally some genuine jeopardy for the traitors.

Series is a 6.5 out of 10 - not enough likeable/hateable people left so I can’t pick a side. I do like Faraaz, but he’s been such a minor character (till now).

Im still not bored of the series or the format tbh. Could do with tweaks. The fascination, for me anyway, continues to be the mirror to real life e.g. judgement of people is based on charm, vibes, manipulation, bias, racism, ageism etc as ugly as that is.

Liking the missions more than the roundtables and now watching Uncloaked without watching the episode. Is there no end to your sick perversions??

I almost did it the other week because I feel asleep during the episode and CBA finding where I watched to etc but then I started watching Uncloaked and they were saying it’s was the best traitors episode ever so i ended up going back

Anyway, feels like if they do manage to get Stephen out we’ll have a rerun of Series 2 with Roxy taking the place of Mollie and blindly following Rachel to lose all the money.

Guardian have done their annual tv show is cooked piece

I’d say this series has been far better than last year’s, on the nastiness scale. 2 people spectacularly blowing themselves up is a completely different and far more interesting conversation

i think this year’s has been good and far better than 3. But I do think 4 has dropped off a bit since Harriet (and to a lesser extent, Fiona) threw things off course

Yeah both Fiona going nuts and the Harriet being a damp squib massively deflated my interest but I feel like there’s a hope of tension now Rachel’s name is back on the cards.

Apart from Fiona and Harriet I think this is the 1st series that has been played how the producers envisage it to be played. It hasn’t been overly nasty, there isn’t a faithful being absolutely taken for a ride by a traitor in the final (yet) and there hasn’t been someone ruining it in a banishment
