it is completely fine to question the motives of her fans given they are aware of what this incredibly problematic candidate has done. bushleague move deleting the post. let people come at me if they want to. i’m a big lad, they can be mean as they like. please put 2 snakes either end of the thread title until we figure this out :snake: :snake:

You spent the last few years very vocally backing a man for PM in this country who was incredibly problematic with regards to racism (anti-semitism) himself.

Yeah it’s fine to question the motives of her fans just saying if the same comment was made about Bernie stance, SESTA\FOSTA I’d be similarly averse to referring to his fans as swerfs. Broadly speaking, I’m not sure how useful it is or how accurate wrt to furthering the conversation* even though I agree that she has some troubling ideas surrounding race. Still a big fan of your work tho’

*Actually kind of reminds me of Contrapoint’s ideas around abstraction and essentialization

What can we do to help Bernie
People keep saying you can phone canvas from abroad but I don’t think Americans would listen to me

Put on an American accent. Wear a cowboy hat to help you get into character.

Hot damn do I have the candidate for you! (Apologies to our board Americans)

Yabba dabba doo I like talkin’ to you, 'bout Bernie

Why even have an election?

I find his face weirdly scary, I don’t know why. Like a computer generated version from Andy Serkis in mo-cap.

I think the weird thing for me is that you pick on Warren specifically when it feels like Biden’s comments and actions are more troubling WRT race and women, as well as he’s clearly having real trouble concentrating.

If we’re talking electability the fact is that Clinton did win a popular vote last time so it’s bit unclear if we can even make a claim that any of these candidates will definitely beat Trump, even Sanders.

It just feels like you’ve got (for whatever reason) more issues with Warren than the other candidates aside from Sanders and personally I don’t really see why she is any worse than than them.

Very well said Theo.

The reason is that they (Warren and sanders) are competing more directly with each other for the left lane votes and the left vote consolidated would beat Biden, the most popular moderate candidate.

It is slightly strange that the outcome is that the most similar candidates policy wise end up having fans that attack the other one the most.

But it’s still pretty much a gamble to imply if Warren drops out enough of her supporters will then shore up Sanders. Apart from the fact she’s openly made him into an enemy there are also going to be her supporters who rush to Biden’s side, etc. I’m not sure the margins are yet enough to be talking like this. The first votes should pare us down to Biden, Sanders and Warren pretty quickly and then it’ll be time to start questioning who the third wheel is.

Yes I was over simplifying, I do think Biden and Bernie will be in the longest.

Because she used to be a republican, lied about her race and is running on a progressive platform while taking money from billionaires.
Biden et al aren’t running on a progressive platform.

It’s great how the dead weight of that generation is going to keep senile reactionaries in power just long enough for the Earth to melt before anyone can do anything about it. Truly the people that kicked down every last ladder
