I watched it live, am I weird for thinking Trump “won” here? Obviously he was being full dirty WWE bad guy about it interrupting at every turn and taking over the debate and always getting the last word in. Trump went really hard on his son about the whole “he got paid millions for doing nothing by Russia” thing, that was Trump at his most angry it seemed, but obviously an attempt to wind up Biden.
Whenever Biden did get a chance to speak it came across as forced to me, all those times he looked directly in the camera and painting those pictures of what life was like for the average American at home just came across as disingenuous and rehearsed. Trump knew what he was doing when he was interrupting Biden too it made him stumble on his words and look weak.
I’m probably wrong but I think to beat Trump you’ve got to play him at his own game at least a bit, interrupt him constantly too and should have gone harder on the whole tax thing, maybe even allude he should be in jail like Trump did back with the Clinton debates in 2016, and obviously jump on the disgusting “stand back and stand by” thing.
