I remember my dad’s printer starting to not work properly, going on the www and finding a website for the Japanese company that made it, sending an email to the only email address on the website and getting a reply a day or so later with some suggestions.

I remember being wowed that I’d got an actual Japanese person in Japan to fix my printer without me leaving the house!
