My mum makes an incredible nut roast/wellington thing and it is absolutely chef’s kiss.

I’ll see if she has the recipe typed up somewhere…

I quite liked them :woman_shrugging:

Mushrooms don’t agree with me, which is quite sad.

I like them too, but they’re no match to others I’ve had

Does anybody have a good recipe for falafels? I really like the ones at Eat a Pitta here in Bristol and would like to put that in a sandwich

I’ve never had good falafel. Like eating nothing.

(Think I’ve only ever had it in a pre-packed sandwich from a newsagents)

@avery makes good falafels

Big falafel fan here. Never made our own, but there’s not much that is better than dunking a falafel into a tub of hummus and chowing down.

Ive had best results when using a big %age of broad beans with the chick peas, makes it all green and a better texture imho

old ma dots has nice writing!

Dropping off some Labour posters at my local grocery store tonight as they complimented me on the one I have strapped to my back while cycling

She does! It’s always impeccable even when she’s rushing

Strog: fine, could use mustard though
Tacos: great/10
:eggplant: pasta: solid 7/10 weeknight meal
chana saag: reliable 8/10 meal
Thai chilli: 7.5/10, having it again tonight so it might get bumped to an 8 if it’s gotten tastier overnight
Veggie sausage pasta: haven’t had this yet but it’ll be fine
Cheese pizza: 10/10 would pizza again
