Sacked? The phrasing I just saw was “suspended” which is why I was confused, lost in translation maybe.

They have been suspended from their duties, in order for the board to negotiate the termination of their contracts.

don’t know much about him but the timing there seems pretty bizarre, given youve just battered PSV and its actually looking like a title race now

out of the Dutch FA Cup*
out of the Champions league
out of the Europa league
5 points behind in the national league

*) lost on penalties against FC Twente last night

Haha! We’ve put an article up on our official website with “research” which shows how much harder our Christmas period is than our rivals when we’re playing Leicester, Burnley, Southampton and Everton. At least Jose is actually overseeing all the operations at the club like Fergie used to I guess…

was 10 points 3 matches ago but yeah, was questioning the timing not the decision itself (although was the shocking start to the season not at least partly down to players being impacted by the Nouri incident? ). guess it does make sense though going into the winter break if they have somebody lined up

Wonderfully small time

On top by the new year, then. Difficult to fault the implacable machine Jose’s built tbh.

Great isn’t it!

…lost one of their last 14 games.

Last 14 games:

Won: 10 (Heerenveen, Sparta, Feyenoord, De Dijk, Willem II, NAC, Roda JC, PSV, Excelsior, AZ)
Drawn: 1 (FC Twente)
Lost: 3 (Vitesse, FC Utrecht and FC Twente)

This is Holland, Ajax are expected to win every domestic game.

Incorrect. Vitesse was 15 games ago (played Gladbach in a friendly), and Twente was technically a draw. You should know this sort of stuff, pal.

Any Charlton fans on here?

Here’s something that may be of interest to you (but incredibly boring nonetheless)
