I asked someone about this once and they said something about it being a very modern country. No idea what they meant by that.

Legitimately accidentally wandered into the middle of an actual fascist rally when I was in Madrid a couple of years ago. Full on old Franco-era flags and speeches and that, nobody seemed to be batting an eye lid, no counter protests or anything. Was dead weird.
