it’s been a bit dull over the last year tbh, AEW might be a mess at times but it’s generally more consistently entertaining. NXT has had some great wrestling sure but it’s just all a bit :man_shrugging: atm. That said, I am interested to see what Edge does tonight

Woeful. To be fair the match between miro and Chucky was good but the promos are so bad. He’s the worst part about it tbh. It’s comedy bollix but he’s ridiculously bad, he’s so corny. Kip’s bollix too but if I feel like even after this feud Miros going to kill any angles with his wackiness. Think Chucky will turn heel eventually because he’s much better as a shitheel but yeah sooner this ends the better.

Usually take a lot of Meltz’s news with a pinch of salt but he’s got some really in-depth analysis here of why the deal wasn’t done beforehand, but essentially it does look like there’s a formal working relationship now between aew and new japan rather than just promoting the us title match as a one-off

It can only be a good thing for big tony’s booking style imho. I think a lot of the dodgiest stuff that goes on in Dynamite is actually from the boys themselves, particularly guys like Matt Hardy, Jericho or Miro who really need to be reigned in at times but he’s clearly very keen to give them a lot of creative agency. With new japan and impact involved he has to balance it with those company’s interests, and hopefully Callis and Gedo can teach him how to say no :joy:
Stepping back from 2 of his 3 jobs would probably help.
