Seemingly the only real notable thing from last night was Peyton Royce having a Miz talking smack moment

Title v title match announced between Kenny and the Impact champ (either Moose or Rich Swann after Saturday) leading presumably to Omega getting the title?
I think especially after THE INCIDENT Omega needs some rehabbing, and the belt collector gimmick with aaa and aew’s title could be the thing to do it. Lot of work for him but fuck it, book it Don.

Seemingly a weekly occurrence now. Thought this thread his the nail on the head:

It’s just a type of promo now. It’s like the brass ring one all the lads who leave the fed come out with when they turn up on aew or impact, vastly diminishing returns.
It’s basically all CM Punk (and to a lesser extent Miz and Bryan)'s fault.

so worthy, got such a short-shrift when she was there and seems like an impossibly lovely person

don’t you talk about being hardcore holly’s manager like that

Anyway bit of a shame she was there before the women’s roster was more workers than models, and even the ones that were there like ivory or jazz they always got tarred with the heel who hates people in skimpy outfits gimmicks, so never got to wrestle each other really or do anything good. But she did that angle very well I guess?

AHH that’s class

Interesting card for Dynamite tonight, Derby v Scorpio for the tv title and Fenix v Matt Jackson who are so experienced with each other. Feel like they’re going to try and build off the buzz (that admittedly was for all the wrong reasons) with some solid long tv matches. And probably MJF with the big turn, if they know what’s good for them.
Wonder who they’ll get to cut a promo on the barbed wire botches too. Hope it’s Eddie.

It’s also probably to counter NXT putting up both the men’s and women’s titles up tonight

ooooh didn’t realise. Balor and Cole’s got to be the biggest draw they can put on isn’t it. Could be a grand night

Yeah pretty much, the only two genuine male top tier stars they have right now

Starting with a banger in Fenix/Matt Jackson then addressing the elephant in the room with a Mix/Kingston promo was probably about as well as they could have handled things imo. Remind people why they’re watching this thing in the first place, poke fun at it as much as you can without breaking kayfabe, move on. It’ll do for me.

That said I’ve only watched that bit and later Sting is indeed going to be interviewed by Tony in the ring again so I might quit AEW and take up hard drugs instead.

So a new large heel stable in aew then? MJF heading up the new horsemen type deal with ftr, wardlow and spears. A very good lineup there. Will be interesting to see the inner circle as faces.

Looks like they’re going straight to Kenny v Christian which I am all for too.

Out of interest, what’s the storyline / explanation?

Bit weird - the Dark Order turning face left a big hole in the heel side of the roster so they’re…turning the Inner Circle face too? I’ve been itching for a Proud & Powerful face run for ages but I’m not sure the maths adds up here. Glad they can stop teasing the 4 horsemen thing though.

MJF and FTR are such a natural fit, I’m purely excited for the work they can do together tbh. Tully has looked really invigorated the last few weeks too. I can do without Spears getting too much spotlight but he’s always a decent hand.

They’re still going with Kenny and Don fooling everyone, to the point of making it all about how stupid Kingston looks by trying to take his big chance on such a dud and oh Eddie you’re so dumb this is why you’ll never be champ etc etc. It’s definitely tongue in cheek, but yeah.
