Hello! I reckon it’s time we did another world cup, and what better subject than chefs off the telly and that.

I’ve done 6 groups of 4, top 2 go through and then all the 3rd places will face a playoff for the remaining second round slots. Have I missed out your favourite? Don’t agree with the format? That’s tough isn’t it.

who knows who i voted for!?

dont really mind, but if ive crossed olivers box i’ll be furious.

nice moral dilemma with some of them- eg roux jr who is obvs a really good chef but a bad tory, and stein who is not a massively good chef, nor a good person but still I like him.

(did vote for stein, did not vote for roux jr)

Dunno who lots of them are, so just voted for ones I’d heard of and didn’t hate, or who had good names. And Rick Stein, cos I dated a family member for a bit.

Don’t get why you’d care if someone’s a good chef or not unless they’re feeding you personally

It’s not like they’re musicians and you get to hear what they’ve made
