There absolutely no skill to baking is there?

Can’t believe how easy it is. Just slap a bit of chopped fruit in some puff pastry and chuck it in the oven and you’ve got a restaurant standard dessert. I can barely make a meal from scratch and live on toast and cereal. People baking professionally are nicking a living, imho.

if it’s so easy, you should be a professional baker

Alright, Mr Kipling.

Just watched a seven-year-old knock a tart out that’s better than anything I’ve ever had in a cafe.

I can reliably bang out food that I would be proud to serve in a restaurant.

Cannot bake for toffee.

Go figure.

Yeah I consider myself a very good cook, but baking utterly eludes me. Every time I try it’s a disaster

Can manage cookies, as long as you’re good with splodge shapes cookie products.

I wouldn’t be that impressed if a restaurant served me baked beans on toast, Eprimer, I’ll be honest.

And I’d be leaving a very pointedly worded three star review on Tripadvisor if I got served some strawberries perched on some Jus-Rol.
