I don’t mind some jellyfish (even the stingers), but these are a no-no for some reason. Saw a frikken huge one in our local bay when I was a kid and it freaked me out massively

we used to go pier jumping when we were kids, and some summers the sea would be swarming with lion’s mane jellies. used to try and jump between them and avoid getting stung, but it was difficult when a boat would come along and chop them up with its propellers. Those tentacles still sting like all hell even when they’re not attached to anything :grimacing:
