A pub roast dinner is just an excuse to go to the pub earlier than seems acceptable on a Sunday. They’re always rank.

this is good and correct

football is a far better reason to go to the pub early on a sunday

can’t remember what the fixtures were but a couple of years ago i took a day of annual leave to recover after watching a super sunday, was a good of my time imo

When @Avery and I last made Christmas dinner for my family my step-dad said it was the best he’d ever had. And my step-nan is a brilliant cook.

who am I kidding, they’re massively underrated really aren’t they?

I’d say they are probably rated about right (great things rated greatly)

Like testicles, but good.

What’s so good about having a tin of beer, which can be drank anywhere, inside of a moving train? Trains in this country are mainly shit, just not a nice place to drink.

Also you’ll need a wee, and going for a wee on a train is less than pleasant.

If I see people drinking beers on the train before eveningtime, I’m wary of them. They’re going to start doing loud shit bloke banter and disturb me trying to read comics.
