Tried this a few times, never quite works out. I think my hob is too fierce, even on the lowest setting in the lowest ring, so it goes all cloudy and funny tasting. A lot of time and effort for not much stock too, the price doesn’t necessarily work out especially if I am meant to be lobbing onions, herbs and carrots in too.
Hints and tips welcome, I currently have two carcasses (carci?) in the freezer.
