If you are concerned about your hearing this test is quite useful. It’s no substitute for going to an audiologist but it will highlight if there are issues that need further investigation.

I just took the hearing test with my AiPods Pro 2 and it’s teling me Little to No Loss. Makes me feel a bit better.

Seeing an advert for a touring version of Abigail’s Party starring Kym Marsh as Beverley, thinking she’s completely the wrong age for the character, then finding out that she’s 48 whereas Alison Steadman was 31 when the TV version was filmed.

Quite often these days, if I’ve had a positive or friendly interaction with someone working in say a bar or a restaurant, I’ll catch myself thinking something like: ‘what an extremely charming young person’. Not so long ago I would’ve broadly considered the same people to be my peers so I’m not sure when it was that my brain decided that I was an actual grandad now.

Seen a few teens with Depeche Mode and The Cure t shirts recently, I assume a H&M thing as well, and had the dreadful thought that they are feasibly bands their grandparents could have been into. Basically like if I’d worn a Vera Lynn t shirt when I was 15.
