I’ve said yes because it should. But like fuck does anyone have the time and energy to do it.

I’m a nay to everything other than shirts for:
Weddings
Interviews
Funerals
Some other big events

Me mam used to have a big machine with rollers that you could put sheets through.

Here she is!

Hers was electric

Who the hell has time to iron bedsheets, or more importantly, why the hell would you iron bed sheets?

100% on board with this, except I’m not sure I’d bother for the interviews. Or the funerals really. Or any wedding except my own. When I did kind of iron my shirt.

They look a lot better. My mum does so I know.

Great. Get a lot of people going into your bedroom and admiring the state of your sheets do you?

Why the hell would I care about looking appalling at work?

Work shirts and that’s it, except for a couple of casual shirts that look better ironed than not.

The bar has already been set too high in this thread, let’s get down to brass tacks.

Hope he’s not done a Harold Bishop in the Hot Tug™

I used to iron pretty much everything, including sheets and grundies, but these days I only iron my shirts. It does make a difference to how your clothes feel, and it makes bedding feel amazing.

Ironing my shirts takes me 20 minutes every week, and I don’t mind doing it in front of the TV or something.
