Yep. Just bought an AMD 480 for £200 and it’s maxing everything without fuss. If you want to do everything in 4K you probably want a slightly better card, but paying almost £600 is fucking insane.

Haha. I did mean to preface it with a subtle disclaimer actually. And I know I am slightly contradicting myself.

I find the history of watches fascinating, and the engineering that goes into them is amazing. The fact that over the years they have had to be engineered to withstand deep water pressure, arctic conditions etc. means they really are miracles. Also some watches like Speedmasters have history with space and so on. So I can appreciate watches as a ‘topic’.

But it’s the crazy money at the high end that baffles me. There is more history and clever stuff in my trusty Seiko divers watch than a plastic Casio, that’s for sure.
