Things to do in Amsterdam on a Sunday

Going to Amsterdam for a long weekend for my Birthday this weekend and a bit undecided on how to fill the Sunday (my actual birthday). We’re going to the Vermeer exhibition on Saturday and thought we’d visit some of the markets that afternoon, and we’ve booked a restaurant for the Sunday night, but the daytime on the Sunday is a bit of a blank spot at the moment.

I know we’ve got a few locals on here, so I’d be grateful for any suggestions. We’re two adults with no kids in tow (at last!). We’ve been to Amsterdam before so we’ve done the obvious (Anne Frank’s House, Van Gogh, etc). We like art, design etc. Good place for a light lunch would be good too (need to leave room for my Rijsttafel in the evening).

Foam (photography) or Het Grachtenhuis (canal history) are nice smaller exhibitions.

Thanks. I think I might have been to Het Grachtenhuis on a previous visit but I’ll look at both.
